Relax while enjoying the sunset over the picturesque Kiawah River from the deck of our Inlet Cove Cottage.  Ten miles of pristine beach are just 400 yards away.  The difference is in the details; totally renovated in 2008, beautiful décor, interesting art, great entertainment options, well-appointed gourmet kitchen, high speed wireless access, exceptional river views from the screened in porch and both decks. 

Our cottage has been completely renovated for the 2008 season.  It is new on the rental market and received the highest rating possible – Platinum – which is earned by less than 5% of the properties on the Island.  The bathrooms and kitchen have been completely remodeled and all the furniture and bedding is new for 2008.    

It boasts an ideal central location near the best private community pool on the island (with a kiddie pool too) and bath house along with a magnificent dock on the river where you can fish, catch crabs, boat or kayak.   A short walk (or you may prefer to bike) along a tree-covered leisure trail takes you to the West Beach Village (with an ice cream shop, casual dining, an arcade, shopping), a General Store or the beach. 

We have a conveniently located front desk making check in and key pick up fast and easy.  Should any problems arise during your stay we have a property manager on site that is available 24 hours a day. 


A wide open floor plan - starts with the gourmet kitchen that flows into the dining area and living room, complete with fireplace.  This is a great place to gather after a wonderful day at the pool, beach, golfing, kayaking or playing tennis.  The desk has plenty of room to spread out and access the Internet through a high speed wireless connection.  The living room opens up to a large screened-in porch with a patio table and chairs – grab a drink to watch the fabulous sunset over the Kiawah River.
 

You can also enjoy the river views from the lower deck while BBQ’ing on a Vermont Castings grill or just relax in one of the rocking chairs or hammock.  You might catch dolphins playing or feeding in the river. 

Each bedroom features new furniture and mattresses, TV and DVD player.  The master bedroom has a king size bed and adjacent full bathroom.  The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom which comes with two twin beds. The living area also has a new 42” HD flat screen TV over the fireplace and the compact CD player is IPod compatible.

It will be hard to find another cottage that has as much – the view, the comfort and all the amenities – so come join us at Kiawah!

Kiawah is a paradise for children.  It’s nestled within 10,000 acres of maritime forests and tidal marshes and is one of the East Coast’s most secluded stretches of beach.  Nature is Kiawah’s most alluring asset.  Enjoy an abundance of things to do, including 30 miles of paved biking and hiking trails that wind through parks and nature preserves.  The 10 miles of beach, the Nature Center, Night Heron Park with its basketball and soccer fields are all close by.  At night, chase crabs on the beach or look for shooting stars.  Kayak, swim, boogie board, build sand castles, hunt for star fish and sand dollars or go for a bike ride on the beach at sunrise. 

Other Amenities:
When we come to the Island we like to bring as little as possible and that’s why we’ve made sure that just about everything you need (except food, clothing & beach towels) is ready and waiting.  The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s dream and comes with dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, all new appliances and many extras (including a blender and margarita glasses).  All bedroom and bath linens are provided as well as a washer & dryer so you don’t need to bring clothes for a week. The cottage also is stocked at the beginning of the year with boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys, booster seat and pack-n-play and a beach cart to get everything you need to the beach.  Bicycles, inline skates and kayaks can be rented right on the island.  So travel light and take advantage of everything that is waiting for you at the cottage.

Kiawah is truly a private paradise with over 10 miles of golden beaches, over 30 miles of leisure paths thru maritime forests, unsurpassed river, ocean and marsh views and a beach that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

If golf and tennis are your passion, you’ve come to the perfect vacation spot – Kiawah’s 5 golf courses were designed by Nicklaus, Dye, Fazio, Johnston and Player.  The famous Ocean Course was Host to the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and is planning for the 2012 PGA Championship.  Tennis magazine has rated Kiawah the #1 Greatest US Tennis Resort.   Both clay and hard courts are available. 

Some of the best red fish and flounder fishing spots await you at Kiawah.  The best fishing pond on the Island is only steps from our cottage.  The Kiawah River is a great place to kayak so bring your own or rent one while you
are here.

The island has over 15 dining options (grocery delivery too) and many places to shop.  But if you want more, Charleston, with its southern charm, plantations and history, is only 20 miles away.  Charleston’s attractions include the Carolina Aquarium, Children’s Museum, IMAX theater, a historic district, ghost tours, great shopping, sightseeing and award winning restaurants.
